Still Reflecting on Life, 2017-2019
When I decided I wanted to shift to painting as a medium of choice instead of photography, still life seemed like a safe and comfortable entry point. At a time when there is so much I want to say and express about the world but it feels too complex and exhausting to translate into painting. So for now here is something simple to contemplate, a distraction from the important issues.
